There are canoe-kayaks available at the hotel. You may ask for one at the reception and have fun at the crystal clear waters of Karavostassis bay. The canoe-kayaks are free of charge for the hotel guests.

Short routes around the hotel on a Mountain Bike ride will be memorable for you. You can enjoy a ride on the beach or visit “Livadi” village nearby. There are bicycles available at the hotel. You may ask for one at the reception and enjoy a ride around Karavostassis bay. The bicycles are free of charge for the hotel guests.

A unique experience no one should miss. The tour starts at 11.00 on selected days and lasts six hours. The boat is docked at the pier, 300 m from the hotel on the other side of Karavostassis bay.
During the tour you have the opportunity to visit and swim in five of the most beautiful beaches of the island which cannot be reached neither by car nor on foot.
Depending on the weather conditions, the tour takes you to the north side of the island or the south one, or both sides.
A light meal is also served on board.

Folegandros is an ideal place for hiking. There are a lot of footpaths which cross the whole island and pass by dry stone walls and abandoned windmills, picturesque white chapels and traditional “themonies”.

Away from the beach, up on a hill, there lies a piece of land which is cultivated by the people of ‘Vrahos Boutique Hotel” all year long.

During spring time the soil is prepared for the summer crop and our farmers plant all kinds of summer vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, eggplants, as well as fruit, such as melons and watermelons.

Our guests are more than welcome to visit the field and take part in the procedure of watering the soil or gathering the crops.
Afterwards, they may also taste the products they have gathered, in the form of a salad or a freshly cooked meal at our Vegera Restaurant.

Taste the local delicacies in Chora, Karavostassis, Agali or Ano Meria, where traditional homemade food is served at fine taverns, while “rakomelo” awaits you afterwards, to end the day in a most delightful drinking way.

There are a number of beautiful beaches around the island. Some of them are accessible by car and bus; others are accessible only by boat or on foot. Some of them are sandy or secluded; others have got pebbles or tamarisk trees.

“Excellent stay!”

Great location overlooking the bay. The room was nice, clean and with a lovely balcony that made us enjoy the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the island. The hotel is located near the best beaches and it also has the only good restaurant around the port. Chora is only 3-4 km away and reachable by bus, if you haven’t rented a scooter or a car. Add a good breakfast and very very friendly staff, and you’ll have was a great stay!

“Really enjoyed our stay here!”

This is a really nice property with charming staff and in a great location with a view over the bay. Although there is no pool, there is a nice platform with a jacuzzi, where you can sunbathe and take in the stunning view. The restaurant is spacious and also offers a nice view. We stayed on the top floor – 109 stairs – so you need to choose a room on a floor depending on your ability and desire to climb them. At night, it is very windy indeed and, being high up, out patio doors rattled. By closing the window at the back and with a simple wedge, we managed to deal with it. Thank you for an excellent stay on your beautiful island.

“Very nice hotel on a small quiet island”

The location of the hotel was very good over viewing the small Harbour of Karavostasis and very close to a nice pebble beach. The rooms was very clean and modern. The staff was outstanding and very helpful giving us information regarding places to go and things to do. The restaurant was equally good with a nice view of the Harbour and the staff was very friendly.
